Our Featured Religious Orders. . .
If you feel that God may be calling you to the religious life, the first step in discerning your vocation is researching religious orders. This site has been set up to help you make contact with various orders. Each of our featured orders includes a description of the order, pictures, a quick view of how the sisters or brothers spend a day, contact info, and in many cases, a link to the order's home page.
Once you've found one or more religious orders whose work and lifestyle especially interest you, it's up to you to take the next step: contacting the order for more information by writing, calling, or e-mailing the order's vocations director. This does not mean you are signing up to join the order! You might have to contact dozens of orders before you find the right one.
When you e-mail or write, include a little information about yourself - how old you are, how long you have been considering religious life, etc. This will let the vocations director know how serious you are. (And please also mention that you found the order on the Catholic Youth Networking site!)
