Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco

About the Salesian Sisters | A Day With the Salesian Sisters | Contact the Sisters

We begin the day with community prayer: meditation, Liturgy of the Hours, and Mass, followed by breakfast and then work with youth in grammar and high schools, youth center etc.

Salesian Sisters After school most of the sisters have activities with the young, clubs, sports, etc. Before supper we meet as a community for the recitation of the rosary - which can also be said individually- spiritual reading and Liturgy of the Hours, followed by supper and then time together.

We finish the day with the 'goodnight'- a tradition established by St. John Bosco where the leader of the community shares a short reflection on the scripture of the next day or any other inspirational thought.

After that we are free to go about our business, personal prayer, preparing for class, meetings etc.
