 A little more than a century ago, St. John Bosco and St.Mary Mazzarello
founded the Salesian Sisters to respond to the needs of young people. An
ardent prayer life, a strong community life, and an active ministry with the
young empower the Salesian Sisters. Ministry takes the form of education,
youth centers, retreats,summer camps, leadership retreats, and catechetical
work. Today 15,000 Sisters carry out the Salesian mission throughout the
world.
