Holy Spirit Adoration SistersAbout the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters | A Day with the Sisters | Contact the Sisters Do you wonder what part contemplative Sisters play in our modern world? It could seem a life irrelevant to the times in which we live. In reality, we Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters live a life of striking social dimensions reaching far beyond the confines of the cloister walls which encircle our solitude with Christ. Our contribution towards building a Christ-centered world is to bring the world to Him by way of prayer and self-giving. A cloistered Sister carries the whole world in her heart!
Our life as Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters is:
Our cloistered life centers on the Eucharist. The most important time of day is the Eucharistic celebration. The Liturgy of the Hours spreads to the various hours of the day the praise and thanksgiving of the Eucharistic celebration. Service of perpetual adoration is our loving response to Christ's love for all people. In your journey of faith, if you sense that God is calling you to follow Him more closely as a religious, He may be inviting you to learn more about the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters. The Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters were founded on December 8th, 1896 by Blessed Maria Virgo. More information about Bl. Maria Virgo. . .
